In this first episode of season six, Rianka introduces The Masterclass for Allies and TrailBlazers.

Avid listeners might have noticed a short hiatus from last year as the team took an extended break. 2050 TrailBlazers’ podcast sponsors and supporters were so gracious in allowing the pause, because we needed the space to reflect.

And, it was important to wait for an important guest, and familiar face, employee experience strategist, Katie Augsburger! 


For those who don’t know Katie, she is a founding partner at Future Work Design, helping organizations do what they say they want to do.

This season will be different because instead of multiple guests throughout the season, Katie will solely help focus the discussions.

Although the 2050 TrailBlazers podcast started in 2018, Rianka shared that traction in the DEI space is only now taking hold. The premise is an exciting one, and there is space for everyone in this journey. But, how to best activate it?

Many companies don’t have the resources to bring in DEI consultants, yet the work is still important.
